Tara Davis-Woodhall and her husband Hunter Woodhall recently commemorated their remarkable achievements with custom-engraved pendants that honor their Olympic and Paralympic victories. They both secured their first Olympic gold medal at the Paris edition of the Games.
Davis-Woodhall secured the gold medal in the women's long jump event after recording a stunning jump of 7.10m to clinch her first Olympic medal. To achieve this feat, Davis-Woodhall defeated Malaika Mihambo and fellow teammate Jasmine Moore, who posted 6.98m and 6.96m, respectively.
Hunter Woodhall improved on his Tokyo Olympics bronze medal win and secured a gold medal in the 400m event. He posted an impressive time of 46.36 seconds to surpass Johannes Floors and Olivier Hendricks, both of whom listed 46.90 seconds.
Further, the Paralympian also contributed to the team's efforts to bag a bronze medal in the mixed 4x100m relay event by running the third leg. Continuing their celebration, the couple recently got custom-engraved pendants from a Denmark-based jewelry brand Pandora.
While the long jumper got herself a necklace with a heart-shaped pendant, which had "D'or," meaning gold in French, engraved on it, her husband opted for a Neckpiece with a gold rectangle tag. Davis-Woodhall was heard praising her husband's handwriting.
"Your handwriting is the best ever," she said. "You did a really good job."
She shared the heartwarming moment with her fans and wrote,
"Marking our milestones with @theofficialpandora #PandoraPartner. After I got my Eiffel Tower charm in Paris, I was so excited to collect more charms. So @hunterwoodhall and I came to Pandora to pick out some new pieces and get them engraved to celebrate this incredible summer and everything we accomplished. "
She added:
"Honestly, best date idea ever! Highly recommend."
