Shiffrin will be seen on the slopes once again, competing at the Alpine Skiing World Cup in Courchevel. Amid this, her fiance, Kilde, spoke about their date plans in an interview with BOSS. In the segment, called 'Gondola Confessions,' he was asked if he had taken anyone on a skiing date, to which he replied:

"My fiance. She's the best skier in the world. So, I guess the answer is yes. And we're probably going to keep doing that."

However, ahead of this, he took immense care of Shiffrin after she faced a devastating crash on November 30, 2024. The skier crashed into the fence just moments ago, reaching the finish line in Killington, and was immediately rushed to the medical center. The American sustained an abrasion on her hip that restricted her movement and had to undergo surgery to treat the blood clot in the injury.

Almost six weeks after the injury, the skier took to her Instagram, sharing the news of her recovery and revealing that she will be in action on January 30, 2025, in Courchevel.

He added:

"Also, you know, I like her as a person more than anything else. For me that she's a skier is just a bonus. I really enjoy spending time with her, and that's what I keep in mind. Anything else is just a bonus.”
