Anna Hall's story of earning Olympic quota marks the story of redemption and determination
Anna Hall missed the opportunity to compete at the Tokyo Olympics after suffering a severe injury during the 2021 Trials. She competed in the 100m hurdles event, during which she hit the eighth barrier following a crash on the ground, which kept her away from achieving the glorious feat then.
During the 2023 World Athletics Championships, she finished in second place, earning 6720 points. The feat came after Hall suffered a knee injury, including a PCL and bone bruise during a training session on the long jump board.
Hall will be seen competing in the heptathlon events at the Paris Olympics slated to begin from August 8, 2024.
