Brescia Grand Prix 2024 Final Results: Letsile Tebogo dominates 200m, Jasmine Qamacho-Quinn defeats Olympic champion Masai Russell

The inaugural edition of the Brescia Grand Prix witnessed sheer dominance from the Olympic medallists as Letsile Tebogo continued his undefeated run after winning the Olympic gold medal. The Botswana sprinter cruised to an easy victory in 20.66s with USA's Vernon Norwood coming second in 20.75s.

The men's 100m title was secured by Jamaica’s Rohan Watson in 10.48s with compatriot Michael Campbell second in 10.53s. The women's 100m witnessed veteran Marie-Josee Ta Lou Smith cruise to the finish line first in 11.28s while Great Britain’s Daryl Neita came second in 11.31s.

The other exciting battle took place in the women's 100m hurdles where Olympic gold medalist Masai Russell took on the bronze medalist from the same games and gold medalist from 2021, Jasmine Qamacho-Quinn. The Puerto Rican edged out the American by 0.03s, taking the win in 12.88s at the Brescia Diamond League.
