Caeleb Dressel's wife Meghan shared a heartwarming note of appreciation for the Olympic champion about being the 'greatest husband and dad'. The couple have been married since 2021 and are expecting their second child later this year.

Meghan shared a picture of the couple having a kiss on her Instagram and claimed she wanted to appreciate the Olympian's support amid pregnancy. The former swimmer hailed Dressel as the greatest husband, writing:

"Appreciation post for the greatest husband, partner, and dad there ever was ❤"

Sharing her love and commitment towards the Olympian, Meghan added:

"@caelebdressel always"

The couple welcomed their first child, son August in February 2024, and are now expecting their second in June of 2025. Meghan appreciated the nine-time Olympic champion's unwavering support amid the pregnancy and said that their children were lucky to have him as their father.

"Truly don't know how women do pregnancy without a supportive spouse. Forever grateful 🥺. Our babies are so lucky you're their Daddy!," she wrote.

Caeleb and Meghan began dating as teenage competitive swimmers before getting engaged six years later in 2019. Their relationship started with a friendship when they were swimming on the same team of Bolles School Sharks. While Caeleb went on to compete at the Olympics, Meghan, who swam backstroke events, gave up the sport after her sophomore year at the University of Florida.

Caeleb Dressel on fatherhood - "It’s probably hurt more than helped me as a swimmer but it's definitely taught me patience"

Caeleb Dressel has been at his usual best following the return from a mental health break, and after welcoming his son August early last year, the 28-year-old claimed it had further derailed his swimming career. However, he isn't complaining and said fatherhood was a very fulfilling experience for him.

“It’s probably hurt more than helped me as a swimmer but it's definitely taught me patience. It's taught me to slow down. The only two things I've been able to do is father stuff and swimming in the run up to Paris 2024,” Caeleb Dressel told Olympics.com in an interview in July 2024.
“It's definitely a different routine, but that doesn't mean that it's bad. It's been very fulfilling and I’ve loved stepping into that role with Megan,” he added.

The 9-time Olympic champion failed to defend his 50m freestyle and 100m butterfly title at the 2024 Paris Olympics. However, he won three medals nonetheless - gold in 4x100m freestyle and 4x100m mixed medley and a silver in the 4x100m medley.
