It has been a challenge for Anna Hall to contain her excitement as she keeps sharing updates about her preparation and expectations. Her latest tweet was about her jetting out of the U.S. for France. From her recent tweet, Hall seems to be in disbelief that she will make her first Olympic Games appearance in Paris.

At the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, Anna Hall was a top contender at the U.S. Olympic trials before unfortunately encountering a setback, breaking her foot after she crashed into a hurdle.

Anna Hall was also unsure about making the U.S. Olympic team for the Paris Olympics since she had undergone a complex knee surgery six months before the trials. Making the Olympic team is a blessing for the 23-year-old, who had to defy all odds to be impressive at the Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.

As she left the for France, Hall shared the news on X saying:

"On my way to the @Olympics. pinch me!! 🤭❤️‍🔥😤💃🏽🪩🥰. Can’t wait to give it my best! #Histiming."

Meanwhile, the American qualified for the Olympic Games after her competitive nature earned her a top spot with 6,614 points. She also earned the U.S. title for the third consecutive time.

Anna Hall will be joined by Chari Hawkins who had to dig deep for a second-place finish at the U.S. Olympic trials, where she attained a personal best after gaining 6456 points. Taliyah Brooks is also in the mix, thanks to her 6408 points.

Hawkins and Brooks will also be debuting at the Olympic Games and they certainly have stories to tell about their journeys to the top.

Anna Hall had quite a turbulent path to her Olympic qualification, marred by injury scares and doubt.

The world silver medallist noted that 2021 was one of her worst seasons and she somehow managed a strong comeback to qualify for the 2022 and 2023 World Championships in Eugene and Budapest respectively.

After qualifying for the Paris Olympics 2024, she was short of words, describing the moment simply as ‘just relief.’ She now makes her long-awaited debut, with great ambition in her mind.

"Honestly, just relief. I've wanted this for so long and my Olympic journey has been really, really hard. 2021 was absolutely devastating. It's just been a lot of adversity and a lot of doubt. And so, just the relief... Like, we finally made it. I'm just really thankful," Hall said as per Olympics.com.

At the Paris Games, Hall will bank on her world championship experience to medal on the Olympic stage.

She heads there as the world leader, a confidence booster for her to tap into her inner energy and carry America’s flag high.
