Sha'Carri Richardson on training with Christian Coleman and other teammates
Sha'Carri Richardson trains along with Christian Coleman, Kenny Bednarek, and other athletes at the Star Athletics Club under the guidance of coach Dennis Mitchell. On December 25, 2024, the club shared glimpses of all athletes training for the upcoming season on the track as well as the gym.
Richardson has often spoken about her training alongside some incredible athletes who push each other to become better every day with constant encouragement and competition. Moreover, the American athlete revealed that they even have tough conversations and hold each other accountable during their training sessions.
"We have those building conversations where we complement each other's talents as well as complement each other's strengths. But also... we have those uncomfortable conversations to hold each other accountable. And we're able to embrace each other's weaknesses and actually help each other build up on those moments. So we have all types of conversation," she said.
Furthermore, being athletes themselves they can stand as a strong support for each other during shortcomings as well as tough moments during the highly competitive track season.
