Christian Coleman shared a glimpse of his recent apparel photoshoot with Nike. The American sprinter is currently gearing up for the 2025 track season.
Coleman wrapped up his 2024 season after competing at the Brussels Diamond League, following which he commenced his off-season. Months after this, he has now started his preparation for the upcoming track season, and amid this, he was recently seen posing for Nike. He shared a sneak peek of the behind-the-scenes of his shoot on his Instagram stories.
The athlete shared a picture posing in front of the camera while donning a wine-colored co-ord set. This story was followed by another picture where he posed in the same attire but at a different location. He wrote in his first story:
"BTS @nike @nikerunning."
Ahead of his off-season, Coleman did not have a great run at the Paris Olympics as he fell short of making it to the finals of any event. He first competed in the men's 100m dash, where he ended up in fourth place, leading to his disqualification from the finals.
After this he squared off in the 200m dash but faced the same fate as in the 100m dash, ending up in the fourth position, falling short of advancing to the finals. However, he had a chance of winning an Olympic medal in the 4x200m dash but ended up being disqualified, citing a botch during baton exchange.
Christian Coleman opened up about his plans for the 2025 season
In an interview with Citius Mag after his competition at the Brussels Diamond League, Christian Coleman spoke about his plans for the upcoming track season. He said that he wants to focus on getting better after facing the highest highs and the lowest lows of the sport. Revealing that he has no 'specific goals' for the 2025 track season, the American said: (as quoted by Pulse Sports)
"I would say to be determined, we talked about it a little bit but we’ll see how things go in the next few months… I think the big plan for me, or the big goal for me is just… I feel like I have been in the highest highs of the sport and the lowest lows and for me, putting it all out together and reaching my goals that I know I’m capable of achieving," said Christian Coleman.
Reflecting on his past season's performance, he added:
“I want to maximize my full talent and ability while I still have it right now, so, I don’t know, no specific goals looking into next season just yet but I just want to be at my best. I know I haven’t been performing the way I’m capable of, so just putting it all out together is the main thing for next season."
Christian Coleman is preparing for the 2025 track season along with teammates, including Kenny Bednarek, Kyree King, Courtney Lindsey, and others.
