The former alpine skiing icon, Lindsey Vonn sent a cheerful message to the Polish tennis icon Iga Swiatek after a video of the latter sweeping the court went viral. Swiatek is currently participating in the French Open in Paris.
Lindsey Vonn is a big tennis enthusiast, and her wonderful friendship with the Swiss maestro Roger Federer is well documented. Vonn is also keeping an eye on Roland Garros, where some of the biggest tennis names are battling it out on the clay courts.
Iga Swiatek is one such name who is on a mission to clinch her fourth French Open title. Swiatek got the better of Naomi Osaka in her second round clash to advance to the third round. She defeated Osaka 7-6, 1-6, 7-5.
In the midst of all these updates, a sweet video of the world champion dusting the sidelines on her side of the court is making the rounds on X (formerly Twitter). WTA shared the video on Tuesday and wrote:
"Sweeping the lines and the competition."
Lindsey Vonn was quick to react to the clip.
"Classy move," she wrote.
