Cleveland Marathon 2024 Final Results: Will Loevner defends men's title, Ashton Swinford clinches women's crown

The Cleveland Marathon 2024 was held between May 18 and May 19 in and around the city of Cleveland, Ohio. Established in 1976, it was the 47th edition of the marathons, and it ensured no shortage of drama in all the races of the event.

More than 10,000 participants from all over America took part in this annual event to script their names in the history books of this marathon event.

The 2024 edition of the Cleveland Marathons saw Will Loevner, the defending champion, clinch his second consecutive win with a run time of 2:19:44. Aiman Scullion of Cuyahoga Falls and Mitchell Kozik of Wadsworth followed suit in the second and third positions with run times of 2:25:40 and 2:27:45, respectively.

The Women's division of the race saw a new winner, Ashton Swinford, a Hudson native, touch the finishing line first in 2:51:16. Melina Terranova of Buffalo and Emily Avers of Bowling Green finished second and third with run times of 2:57:02 and 3:00:33, respectively.

In the non-binary division of the race, only two participants took part in the 2024 edition of the Cleveland Marathon in which Kari Barcley emerged victorious, registering a run time of 3:28:08.
