With Simone Biles poised to dazzle in Paris, Jonathan Owens boarded a flight to watch his wife compete in the Olympics for the first time at the 2024 Games. The American gymnast will be next seen competing in the women's team final.

The couple met each other in 2020 through a dating app and exchanged their vows on April 22, 2023. The lockdown measures during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics kept Owens from witnessing Biles' stunning performance in person and missed the 2016 Rio Olympics as their paths had yet to cross by then.

As the beloved gymnast makes her third appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Owens took a flight, eager to watch Biles compete in the French capital. Biles will vie in the women's team event along with her squad, including Jade Carey, Sun Lee, Jordan Chiles, and Hezly Rivera on August 30, 2024, at 18:15, according to local Time.

Owens shared a selfie from the flight he took to Paris, bubbling with excitement to witness the legendary gymnast and his wife, and wrote,

"Coming for you baby."

Simone Biles will compete against Brazil's Rebeca Andrade in the final rounds of all-around, vault, floor, and balance beam at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Biles and Andrade made their Olympic debut together at the 2016 Rio Games. While Biles has so far secured seven Olympic medals, Andrade has two medals under her belt.

However, the Brazilian gymnast has proved to be a formidable contender for the 27-year-old American gymnast. In the qualification rounds of the individual all-around and apparatuses, Andrade has stood close and second to Biles in all the events that they both will compete in the final rounds.

While the women's individual all-around event final is slated for August 1, 2024, they will meet again at the Bercy Arena for gymnastics on August 3, 2024, for the vault final and on August 5, 2024, for floor exercise and balance beam final rounds.
