American Olympic champion Jordan Chiles' mother Gina Chiles shared a heartfelt note for 11-time Olympic medalist Simone Biles following the release of her Netflix docuseries Simone Biles Rising: Part 2.
The first two episodes titled "Write me down in history" and "I will not be broken" released this past July explored Biles withdrawal from the Tokyo Olympics to prioritize her mental health, citing the case of 'twisties' and the Larry Nassar case as well as her preparation for the Paris Olympics.
The second season released on Friday, October 25, comprising two new episodes titled "I will defy the odds" and "I will rise," will showcase her journey at the US Olympic Trials, her selection for the team and team gold victory at the Paris Games.
The documentary also uncovered the journeys of Biles' teammates, including Shilese Jones, Kayla DiCello and Skye Blakely, who couldn't secure a spot on the team after sustaining injuries at the trials.
To celebrate the release of the new season, a special premiere was organized at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, on Wednesday. The event saw appearances from several popular faces, including Casimir Schmidt, Nastia Liukin, Adam Rippon, members of Biles' family and her Golde Over America Tour team.
Following the release, Biles received praise from many, including Gina Chiles, who took to Instagram story and shared a note that reads:
"I cried way too many times So good-go watch it! Simone Biles you and your family deserve all the beautiful things in life. What an incredible journey."
