Desert Heat Classic 2024: Schedule, order of events, athletes, where and how to watch

The Desert Heat Classic 2024 is one of the prestigious track and field meets which is hosted by the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. It is slated for April 27, Saturday, and will be held at Roy P. Drachman Stadium. Last year, the Desert Heat Classic was ranked as the 82nd-best competition in the world by World Athletics.

The competition on Saturday will start at 12:00 pm (MST), with field events and the tracks scheduled to begin at 5:00 pm (MST).

Several competitive teams like Alabama, Arizona State, Baylor, Colorado, CSUN, Eastern Washington, Grand Canyon, Houston, Idaho, Iowa, Iowa State, Minnesota, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, Northern Colorado, Oregon, Purdue, San Diego State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UC Riverside, and UTEP, will be participating in the meet
