This page showcased how Suni Lee instilled confidence in herself as she kind of spoke to herself by writing that she did not need to be perfect and she should eliminate all the doubt that could affect her performance. It read:

"ELIMINATE THE DOUBT: Don't be so hard on yourself. You do not have to be perfect. This is where you're meant to be at."

Suni Lee took home three medals with her, as she won her first medal in the team all-around event, where she and her team stood atop the podium after earning a score of 171.296 points, besting Italy and Brazil. Following this, she won a bronze medal in the individual all-around event, where she scored 56.465 points and was defeated by Simone Biles and Rebeca Andrade.

The third medal was nabbed by her in the uneven bars, where she attained a third-place finish after scoring 14.800 points. Following these exploits, Suni Lee opened up about her experience at the Paris Olympics in an interview with Olympics.com. She exuded pride in herself and said that she overcame a lot of things.

“I think there’s a lot of things to be proud of this time around, just because I had to overcome so much. There were days where I was fighting demons, and [my coach] Jess [Graba] was just like, ‘You know what? I don’t even know if this is for you anymore,'" said Suni Lee.

“There were times where he was like, ‘Maybe you should just be done here,’” she continued. “I was having the worst times.”

She further compared her 2024 summer games journey to her experience in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

"I feel like a lot of it, too, was just kind of finding myself, just because I used to be very introverted. I didn’t want to talk to anybody, like super shy. I think just being around the right people and having my coaches by my side, always joking, laughing with me and making feel comfortable inside the gym and enjoying my time there and me being able to express that I was enjoying my time, helped a lot.”

Suni Lee recently shared a glimpse of her Christmas celebration in New York.
