Elaine Thompson-Herah turned heads in a blue denim jumpsuit, pairing the outfit with a red headband and matching shoes. The Jamaican sprinting legend missed competing at the Paris Olympics but has since been bringing her fashion A-game to social media.

The world's fastest woman alive and the second fastest in history behind Florence Griffith-Joyner, Elaine Thompson-Herah sat out of most of the 2023 season and even parted with her previous coach Shanikie Osbourne for payment issues. Gearing up to defend her 100m and 200m at the Paris Games, she participated in the 2024 New York Grand Prix but suffered an Achilles injury, which forced her out of the Paris Games.

Despite her unsuccessful run in 2024, the five-time Olympic gold medalist exuded confidence, saying she would resume track after full recovery. After enjoying the off-season, the Jamaican stepped out for a movie night on New Year's Day, donning a blue denim jumpsuit with a red headband and sneakers.

"Movie night," her caption read.

Recently, she shared a picture carousel with a New Year declamation on her Instagram handle. She wrote:

"New Year proclamation. 2025 is my year! I declare this year to be filled with unprecedented favor, abundant blessings, and unwavering peace in every area of my life. I speak health over my body, clarity over my mind, and strength in my spirit. This year, I am equipped for greatness, and I walk in God’s perfect plan for my life."

Elaine Thompson-Herah won the 100m and 200m at the Rio Olympics and defended her titles in 2021 Tokyo. The feat made her the second sprinter after Usain Bolt to achieve the ''sprint double' at consecutive Games.

Elaine Thompson-Herah reflected on her 2024 season and expressed gratitude for the lessons

Struggling with persistent injuries since her Tokyo Olympics victory, Thompson-Herah wasn't physically fit to compete at the 2024 Jamaican trials and eventually the Olympics. Despite the setbacks, she believed the breakdowns would be the reason for her breakthroughs, as per how she expressed on her Instagram post on December 31, 2024.

"Thank you, 2024. You may not have been the easiest year. But ironically, it’s in times of difficulty that we often experience the greatest growth. Because when life breaks us open, it gives us the opportunity to rediscover who we truly are. It is through challenges that we uncover our true power. And it is through breakdowns that we often find our greatest breakthroughs. So thank you, 2024. You have gifted me with powerful lessons that will guide me for the rest of this journey," she said expressing gratitude.

The 32-year-old won five medals at the World Championships, including a 4x100m relay gold in the 2015 edition.
