Emma Mckeon turns up the glamour in an all-black outfit for latest Dior collaboration

Australian swimmer Emma McKeon shared a few glimpses of her latest Dior collaboration. The 30-year-old frequently collaborates with the French brand and was named the company's ambassador for the Paris Olympics and Paralympics 2024.

Owing to this, the Wollongong native has been spotted frequently in Dior collaboration shoots. She took to her Instagram handle to share pictures from her latest Dior collection as she attended the opening of the company's new store in Brisbane.

In the post, McKeon can be seen in a black dress and complementing it with black boots as her boyfriend and former swimmer, Cody Simpson, accompanies her in the shoot. She remarked in the caption,

"The opening of the new @dior Men’s store in Brisbane x A moment for these boots"

Emma McKeon had an impressive year in 2024, where she competed in her last quadrennial event in Paris, winning a gold (4x100m freestyle), silver (4x100m medley), and bronze (4x100m mixed medley) medal each. For her performances in the event, she was also named GQ Australia's Sportsperson of the Year 2024.

IOC President shared a note after Emma McKeon's retirement

International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Thomas Bach shared her thoughts following Emma McKeon's decision to hang up her boots from the swimming circuit. Having debuted at the 2016 Rio Olympics, McKeon participated in three quadrennial games for Australia.

Bach mentioned the achievements that Bach had during her Olympic career and also wished her luck for the swimmer's future endeavors. Additionally, Bach also urged McKeon to stay close to the Olympics. He said (via IOC Media):

"All the best to Emma McKeon - an outstanding Olympian, calling it a day on her astonishing Olympic career, with 14 medals, including 6 golds. Wishing you good luck wherever your life takes you next and hoping you remain close to the Olympic Movement.”

McKeon bid goodbye to the discipline back in November as Australia's most decorated Olympian with a tally of 14 medals, including six gold, three silver, and five bronze medals. The delayed 2020 Tokyo event was the most successful for McKeon, where she bagged four gold and three bronze medals.

Notably, she also won five gold medals in the long-course championships and four gold in the short-course event across her career. Two months after her swimming retirement, McKeon recently visited the pool for a practice session.
