Suni Lee has commented on Jordan Chiles' new Instagram post, which featured the latter's photoshoot for Teen Vogue. Chiles appeared in four different outfits for the cover issue of Teen Vogue on Instagram, and Lee found the perfect moment to hype her teammate up through a comment.

The two are close friends, as Lee said in a previous interview. She added that she would love to sit next to Chiles on the flight leaving for the Paris Olympics 2024. Both gymnasts have secured their seats to represent the U.S. Gymnastics Team at the Summer Games.

On 23rd July, the Tokyo Olympics all-around gold medalist commented on Chiles' Instagram post, saying:

When Simone Biles withdrew from the finals at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics due to mental health reasons, Chiles and Lee performed splendidly and helped Team USA win the silver medal. Over time, their friendship has grown a lot since they have been playing together in international tournaments.

Recently, after winning gold at the 2024 Core Hydration Classic, the former Auburn University player posted her tournament pictures, where Chiles commented on the post saying:

"So proud of you!!!"

Suni Lee's desire to play along with Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles at the 2024 Paris Olympics

The U.S. Gymnastics Team was finalized for the 2024 Paris Olympics after the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Team trials, where Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Simone Biles, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera qualified to make it to the roster.

During her interview with KPRC 2Click2Houston, Lee spoke about her desire to play at the 2024 Summer Games alongside Biles and Chiles. She also highlighted her friendship with Jordan Chiles.

"I think it’s really important. I am really close with Jordan and she’s like one of my really good friends," Lee said (at 1:55).

When the interviewer asked how important is it to have team chemistry while competing at an event, she replied:

"It’s really important because once you get out there, you are a team and you are competing for Team USA."
