Masai Russell recently reflected on buying her own house following her heroics at the 2024 Paris Games. During her debut appearance at the Games, Russell bagged her first Olympic medal—a gold.

She defeated France's Cyréna Samba-Mayela and Puerto Rico's Jasmine Camacho-Quinn to dominate the event. While Samba-Mayela and Camacho-Quinn posted 12:34 and 12:36 seconds, respectively, Russell clocked a stunning 12:33 seconds.

Following her stunning debut appearance at the Games, the 24-year-old recently bought her own house, glimpses of which she keeps sharing with her fans. The Washington state native recently hosted a Q&A session on her Instagram stories.

When asked about the process of buying her own house and the challenges she faced, Russell explained how overwhelming the experience of buying a new house felt. She also expressed her gratitude towards her parents, who helped make the process less stressful.

"I felt like I was in elementary school all over again 😭 all new terminology, language, everything," Russell wrote. "But shoutout to my parents for helping, it weren't for them it would've been an even more stressful process. Eventually I'm going to do a full sit down video of all the things I learned and will do differently when I get my next home."
