Dutch track and field athlete Femke Bol reacted to Mondo Duplantis' fiance Desire Inglander's recent pictures. This comes just a few weeks after the four-time Olympic medalist resumed training sessions for the upcoming track season.
Inglander being an influencer is highly active on her social media handles and also has more than 720K followers on her Instagram handle. Recently, she shared a few glimpses of her time at the Palm Beach Island on her handle.
In the post, Inglander can be seen wearing a maroon dress and complementing it with a deep blue purse and watch. She wrote in the caption:
"Palm Beach"
Bol reacted to the post and showered her love on the Swedish influencer. She dropped three heart-eyes emojis under the comment section of the post.
Desire Inglander's fiance Mondo Duplantis is a fan of Femke Bol and has also expressed his admiration for the Dutch athlete in the past.
Mondo Duplantis commented on the idea of him racing against Femke Bol over 400m distance
Mondo Duplantis recently discussed a faceoff between him and Femke Bol over the 400m distance. This came just after he defeated Karsten Warholm in a 100m race at the Zurich Diamond League.
In a pre-match interview before the Diamond League finals, Duplantis stated that this idea is quite 'nice' but he has not raced over the 400m distance in the past. He also added that even though he is ready for a face-off in anything, his expertise is in the pole vault. He said (via Pulse Sports Kenya):
"I really do not, honestly. It took a lot more out of me than I thought it would. A 400 meters against Femke Bol? That would be kind of nice, but I have never run a 400 and never ran past like 150 meters, so it would probably be pretty tough. I am pretty open to whatever, but I am a pole vaulter at the end of the day."
Despite not being her specialization event, Femke Bol has a decent speed in the 400m dash with a run time of 49.17 seconds. She has also been victorious in this event at multi-nation tournaments such as the World Championships and European Championships.
