Femke Bol, Masai Russell, and other athletes reacted to Gabby Thomas’ 2024 highlights. 2024 was a remarkable year for Thomas, where she not only excelled on the track with three gold medals at the Paris Olympics but also stole the spotlight with her presence in many prestigious non-track gatherings.

Thomas shared an Instagram reel that highlighted her year, featuring glimpses of memorable moments including grueling training sessions, interviews, moments with boyfriend Spencer McManes, photoshoots, time spent with training partners, her Olympic 200m gold moment, her role as Grand Marshal at the 2024 New York City Marathon, and her appearance at the USATF awards, among others.

As Thomas expressed her gratitude for the year through the reel, Femke Bol, Masai Russell, and other athletes joined in with comments on the post. Dutch sprint and hurdles sensation, Bol, commented with heart emojis.

Notably, Thomas also appeared at the New York Fashion Week and Vogue Fashion Fund Awards and also won the USATF Female Athlete of the Year award for her 2024 season.

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Gabby Thomas and Femke Bol both had successful campaigns as they returned home with three medals each. Thomas bagged three golds - one in the individual 200m and was a crucial member of the USA’s 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams.

On the other hand, Bol earned medals of three different colors, including gold as a part of the mixed 4x400m relay team, silver in the women’s 4x400m, and bronze in the individual 400m hurdles.

World Athletics, the global governing body, gave a shout-out to Thomas, Bol, and long-distance runner Sifan Hassan for winning three medals at the Paris Olympics via Instagram.

Both Thomas and Bol shared their reactions to the shout-out. The five-time Olympic medalist Thomas commented on the post with blue and heart emojis:

“❤️💙❤️💙”, Thomas wrote.

Femke Bol mentioned the Dutch flag and orange heart, writing:
