Now, as she prepares to defend her title as the World Champion, the hurdler gave fans a look into her training, taking to her Instagram story to share a snap of herself on the track and writing,

Femke Bol reflects on her 2024 season
For Femke Bol, 2024 was an incredible year. She started her season competing indoors, where she won the 400m and 4x400m golds at the World Indoor Championships. Her gold medal winning time of 49.17s in the 400m marked a new world record.
In her outdoor season, Bol clocked a 50.95s in July in the 400m hurdles while running at the Résisprint International, becoming only the second woman in history to dip under the 51 second mark. She then went on to compete at the Paris Olympics, where she won gold in the mixed 4x400m relay, silver in the 4x400m relay, and bronze in the 400m hurdles. She wrapped up her year with her fourth consecutive Diamond League title.
Reflecting on her season, Bol wrote on Instagram,
“Season 2024. It's been an absolutely crazy year full of moments I'll cherish forever. From world indoor champion in a world record to defending our European titles, going sub51 on the 400 hurdles, to winning at the Olympics and finishing it off as Diamond League Trophy winner in Brussels. The road to all of this has been just as beautiful as the achievements, thanks to my amazing team. Now it's time for some rest, thank you for all the support, see you after holiday.”
Femke Bol and her team are yet to confirm the Olympic champion’s competition schedule for 2025. However, the Dutch runner is likely to be focused on the World Championships, which will take place in September.
