Tara Davis-Woodhall opened up about her time at the Olympic Village during the 2024 quadrennial Games. This came just a few days after she won the long jump gold medal in the competition.

In an interview, Davis-Woodhall revealed that she got out of the Olympic Village as soon as her husband, Hunter Woodhall arrived in Paris. She also mentioned that the Olympic Committee should learn from the TikTok videos and provide better accommodations for the athletes in the next edition in Los Angeles. She said (via Cosmopolitan):

"I was in the Village for a week, and as soon as Hunter got here, I packed up a suitcase and I bounced. Unfortunately, the Village is not great. Hopefully, L.A. can learn from everyone’s TikToks and everyone’s experience of what’s actually happening. I understand the eco-friendly situation—because there are so many people staying here in such a short span of time—but also we are the best athletes in the world, so I feel like we should be treated like the best athletes in the world."

During the interview, Tara Davis-Woodhall also remarked that she got better conditions of stay during her initial years at the circuit. Several athletes such as Hezly Rivera, and Thomas Ceccon have also opened up about the quality of food served to them in the Olympic Village.
