American hurdler Tia Jones confirmed her relationship with NFL youngster Xavier Worthy on 26th April during the latter's drafting by the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jones tied the 60m women's hurdles indoor world record with Devynee Charlton after clocking 7.67s at the USAtF Indoor Championships. Charlton had set the record only a few days before at the Millrose Games. However, she rose back at World Athletic Indoor Championships to take the lead once again by clocking 7.65s.
Meanwhile, Jones suffered an injury in the finals at the USATF Indoor Championships and was later ruled out of the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow as well.
The rumors of Jones and Xavier Worthy dating had been going on for a while now. However, in a recent update, Jones confirmed the relationship through a series of pictures on her Instagram. She uploaded a picture of the two earlier where the two could be seen touching each other's hands side by, flaunting their watches.
Jones also uploaded a clip of Xavier Worthy giving an interview. She, however, didn't reveal the face of the Kansas City Chiefs’ pick.
In another update on her Instagram, Worthy could be seen placing his hands on Jones’ thighs as the couple enjoyed a cozy moment inside their car. The 23-year-old could be seen holding a rose bookie as well. She captioned the story:
"I'm alright"
Not only would the 60m hurdles star be 'alright', but she would also be buzzing with happiness as they set off to become another power couple, and hopefully America's favorite.
