Gabby Thomas went through a superb run of form in this 2024 track and field season, helping her to clinch three gold medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics and also numerous other USATF (United States Track and Field) and Diamond League meets. Owing to these victories, the 27-year-old bagged more than $150,000 in prize money across the season.
Thomas started off her season at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix where she won the 300m short track event and took home around $3000 in prize money. Her next heroics came at the 2024 World Athletics Relays where she was a part of the gold medal-winning 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams.
She bagged around $20,000 in total from this event, with the total team prize money offered for each of the relay events being $40,000. Next up for Thomas was the USATF New York City Grand Prix and the US Olympics track and field trials in which she won the 200m dash of both events, bagging $6000 and $11,000 respectively.
Thomas' only Diamond League appearance this season came in London where she won $10,000 for clinching a podium finish in the 200m event. In the 2024 Paris Olympics, Gabby Thomas clinched three gold medals in the 200m, 4x100m and 4x400m events, owing to which she bagged around $75,000 in prize money ($50,000 for the 200m event gold and $12,500 each for the 4x100m and 4x400m relays).
Gabby Thomas' last appearance this season came at the 2024 Athlos NYC where she bagged around $25,000 to conclude her season. Besides these events, the Georgia native also competed in other meets such as Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays and LSU Alumni meets for which the prize money hasn't been specified.

Competing in her first race after the Paris Olympics, Gabby Thomas faced a shocking defeat in the 200m event of the Athlos NYC 2024 at the hands of compatriot Brittany Brown.
Coming after her Diamond League Finals victory in Brussels, Brown stunned the reigning 200m Olympic champion to win the event after clocking a run time of 22.18 seconds. Thomas gave a tough competition to the California native but couldn't stop her from taking the 200m crown.
The 200m Olympic gold medalist had to settle for the second position on the podium after registering a run time of 22.21 seconds. Anavia Battle clinched the third position after clocking a run time of 22.234 seconds.
