From President Biden to Barack Obama: All the politicians who congratulated Simone Biles & Team USA for winning the gold medal at Paris Olympics

Simone Biles has garnered praise for her incredible performance at the women's team final from the gymnastics world and a few world leaders as well. President Joe Biden, President Barack Obama, and the former First Lady of the United States extended their wishes to Biles on her recent feat.

Biles along with the American team, consisting of Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Hezly Rivera, and Jade Carey clinched the top place on the podium in the women's team final with a massive lead, scoring 171.296 points. Following their victory, the gymnasts were showered with abundant wishes, including from a few world leaders.

President Joe Biden, who presented her with a Medal of Freedom in 2022, showered his admiration and congratulations with a warm message for the triumph.

"Congratulations, @USAGym and to the one and only @Simone_Biles, who now has more Olympic medals than any U.S. gymnast in history," President Biden wrote. "A trailblazer and role model, your unmatched power, grace, and daring inspires us all."
"I’m proud to see you add another medal to your collection," he added.

Former President Obama also extended his wishes to Simone Biles for becoming the most decorated American gymnast.

"Congrats to the U.S. Women's Gymnastics team for winning gold and to the GOAT @Simone_Biles for becoming the most decorated American gymnast in history!"

President Obama's wife, former First Lady Michelle congratulated the whole gymnastics team and wrote,

"Congrats Simone, Sunisa, Jade, Jordan, and Hezly! So proud of you ladies!"

The former United States representatives Gabrielle Dee Giffords and George Santos also conveyed their greetings, with the former referring to Biles as the embodiment of perseverance and strength.

"Congratulations to @Simone_Biles and the entire USA women’s gymnastics team on bringing home the gold! Simone is the embodiment of perseverance, strength, and harnessing your own power. I continue to be so proud of her."
"Absolutely proud as an American! Love her," wrote Santos.

Simone Biles is yet to compete in the individual rounds of all-around and three apparatuses, including vault, balance beam, and floor exercise. The schedule of the events is given below:

Women's individual all-around final: August 1, 2024 - 18:15

Women's Vault final: August 3, 2024 - 16:20

Women's Balance beam final: August 5, 2024 - 12:38

Women's floor exercise final: August 5, 2024 - 14:23
