Gabby Thomas recently shared a sneak peek of her best moments of 2024 in the latest update. The athlete wrapped up her previous track season after competing at the Athlos NYC meet.
Thomas had a successful run in 2024 as she won a total of three gold medals at the Paris Olympics. She won her first medal in the 200m final, where she clocked 21.83s to stand atop the podium by besting Julien Alfred and Brittany Brown. Following this, she competed in the 4x100m relay, where she and her team recorded 41.78s, leaving behind Great Britain, who clocked 41.85s.
She won her third medal in the 4x400m relay, where she and her team ran a time of 3:15.17, defeating the Netherlands and Great Britain, who claimed second and third place, respectively. Along with this, she also got featured in the SI Swimsuit's 2025 issue.
Months after these achievements, as 2024 comes to an end, the American athlete shared a reel on her Instagram handle, which showcased glimpses of all her achievements, and she extended her gratitude for them. Along with this, she also shared glimpses of her training sessions and a few more of her brand shoots. The post's caption read:

Gabby Thomas recently opened up about what keeps her motivated while training on the track in an interview in September. She revealed that the thought of putting in work on the track makes her confident. Along with this, she also emphasized the mental confidence, and stated that it is a huge part of her sport.
"When it comes to feeling hot, it’s all about a mindset that I’ve cultivated through my training, style, and little rituals. First, nothing makes me feel more confident than stepping onto the track knowing I’ve put in the work," Gabby Thomas said.
She added:
"Mental confidence is a huge part of my sport, and the energy that comes from knowing I’m at my strongest is what truly makes me feel fabulous. So every day, I’m building the habit of training consistently, working hard, and pushing my limits."
Gabby Thomas also competed at the Athlos NYC, where she participated in the 200m, where she clocked 22.21s, claiming second place and was bested by Brittany Brown, who recorded 22.18s. She will now be seen competing in Michael Johnson's Grand Slam Track in 2025.
