Tara Davis-Woodhall recently shared a few behind-the-scenes moments that shaped her 2024 Paris Olympic campaign. Davis-Woodhall secured her first Olympic medal at the 2024 Paris Games.

She recorded a stunning jump of 7.10m to dominate the event and surpass Malaika Mihambo and her fellow teammate Jasmine Moore, who posted 6.98m and 6.96m, respectively. A few months following the glorious victory, she reminisced her time in Paris while sharing a few glimpses from behind the scenes of her second appearance at the quadrennial Games.

She shared a mirror selfie, showcasing the team outfit she wore for the preliminary round. The long jumper even shared a glimpse of the movie Karate Kid, which she started to watch the night before the final round and completed right in the morning before the finals, fueling herself with the mindset to face the competition ahead.

Further, she shared selfies from a taxi that she took to the Olympic Stadium and the one that she sent to her husband Hunter Woodhall. She even shared a video of an outfit check which she was seen donning in the final round.

Sharing this video, she wrote:

"Outfit check. ✔️We received the coolest uniforms if you make finals and this was the only way I could check what I looked like. Mind you, I’m fully warmed up & once I step of this bathroom it was show time"

Moments after winning her first Olympic gold medal, Tara Davis-Woodhall posed for a selfie with the fans in the stadium. Further, she shared a picture of the door poster she received after the win. Reflecting on the joy after receiving the poster, Davis-Woodhall wrote:

"One thing I’ve dreamed of since making a National team was getting these posters on your door. At indoor worlds I didn’t get one and at outdoor worlds I got second. So to see this on my door I was so hyped."
