The 2024 U.S. Olympic Men's Gymnastics Team has been revealed, and as expected, it features the best gymnasts the country has to offer. Heading to Paris later this summer will be Frederick Richard, Brody Malone, Paul Juda, Asher Hong and Stephen Nedoroscik. Joining these five as traveling replacements will be Khoi Young and Shane Wiskus.

For Richard, this selection for his debut Olympic Games was a bit of an obvious conclusion to what has been a stunning outing for the American. A two-time World Championships bronze-medalist, the 20-year-old led the all-around from day one in Minneapolis, and held onto that lead to edge out silver-medalist Brody Malone by just two-tenths of a point on Saturday, posting a 170.5.

Frederick Richard also topped the high bar with a score of 29.85, and finished top five on the floor exercise and parallel bars to complete his dominant display.

Joining Richard on the 2024 U.S. Olympic Men's Gymnastics Team as the all-around silver-medalist from the Trials will be Brody Malone. For Malone, this will mark his second Olympic outing, but his road here hasn't been without its challenges.

In 2023, the gymnast severely injured his knee after a fall, requiring three surgeries. While a comeback in time for the Paris Olympics looked unlikely, Malone has successfully done the seemingly impossible.

Rounding out the team that will hope to end a 16 year long medal drought for America later this summer will be Paul Juda, Asher Hong, and Stephen Nedoroscik. Juda and Hong finished fourth and fifth on the all-around respectively, with Juda taking silver on the floor, who Hong finished second in the vault.

Nedoroscik wasn't in the top ten off the all-around rankings, but has made it through to the U.S. Olympic Men's Gymnastics Team based on his prowess on the pommel horse, a piece of equipment where the team needs all the support they can get. He finished with a silver in the event at Minneapolis, but was crowned World Champion in 2021, marking a first for the United States on the pommel horse.

Meanwhile, traveling replacements Shane Wiskus and Khoi Young missed out on making the U.S. Olympic Men's Gymnastics Team by a hair. Wiskus was third in the all-around while Young topped the vault, but neither was enough to grant the two a chance to compete in Paris.
