Gabby Thomas and Angel Reese revealed their favorite fashion moments of 2024 after they made success in their respective domains. Thomas picked the Tommy Hilfiger fit from the 2024 US Open finals while Angel Reese went for the red Victoria's Secret look.
Gabby Thomas won three gold medals in the Paris Games' 200m, 4x100m, and 4x400m relay events. She continued her momentum at the inaugural edition of Athlos NYC, taking silver in the 200m, and made fashionable appearances at the New York Fashion Week, Vogue Fashion Fund, and US Open finals, among other events.
On the other hand, LSU alum Angel Reese, who joined the Chicago Sky in the 2024 WNBA Draft, posted the longest single-season streak in WNBA history in June last year. Her successful season ended with 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game.

Days after the conclusion of the 2024 season, Thomas and Reese became Vogue’s Winter 2025 cover stars. Speaking to the Vogue team in between shoots, they picked their favorite fashion moments of 2024. Thomas shared that the Tommy Hilfiger fit at the US Open finals helped her associate with Zendaya.

"My favorite so far has been Victoria's Secret. She actually just won at the CFDA and I was excited to work with her. So just being able to do that and actually just being able to be me within myself."

Having studied neurobiology at Harvard and been involved in track and field since childhood, Gabby Thomas couldn't cultivate beyond the athletic world until recently. Speaking to Vogue, the three-time Olympic gold medalist shared how she has been growing with fashion with 'pretty' looks and polished hair and make-up.
"I’ve been so in athlete-world, I feel like I’m just starting to get a sense of what I like. Not that I don’t have my own style. I do, but then I put on something like that white Carolina Herrera dress that I wore to the show, and it’s like, Oh, oh-kaay. Since then I’ve been doing more ‘pretty’ looks. And more polished. Same with the hair and makeup, I’m growing with that too," the 28-year-old said.
Thomas was a member of the US track and field team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, winning the 200m bronze and silver in the 4x100m relay.
