Gabby Thomas graced the F1 arena at the US Grand Prix in Austin and expressed admiration for British Racing driver Lewis Hamilton. Thomas came fresh off attending Vogue's Forces of Fashion, meeting Nicki Minaj, and presenting the Fashion Fund award.
Thomas walked home as one of the most successful US track athletes, having amassed the 200m, 4x100m, and 4x400 relay golds at the 2024 Games. After her Olympic exploits, she attended several off-track events like the New York Fashion Week and the US Open finals.
The 27-year-old entered the Athlos NYC as the 200m top seed but faded away to second behind Brittany Browns in the finals. She then flew miles to vacation with her boyfriend Spencer McManes in the Maldives, turning heads with beach fits and spending quality time at Joali Being Resorts.
Thomas stepped into the shoes of an interviewer for Nicki Minaj at Vogue's Forces of Fashion and presented the winner's award to L'Enchanteur owners, Dynasty and Soull Ogun. On October 20, 2024, the three-time Olympic gold medalist attended the US Grand Prix to catch her favorite Lewis Hamilton live.
In her recent Instagram post, Gabby Thomas shared a photo series of her F1 look, encompassing an orange-red t-shirt, black skirt, and boots. She also shared a frame with the drivers before the race and posed with commentators Christine Williamson and Elle Duncan. The five-time Olympic medalist, hosted by Red Bull Racing, didn't have a particular team to support but she fangirled over Mercedes driver, Lewis Hamilton.
"I'm not really with a team in particular but I'm definitely a Lewis Hamilton fan."
Hamilton, who holds the record for the most US Grand Prix titles, failed to add another to his tally this time.
Gabby Thomas attended the match-up between Texas Longhorns and Georgia Bulldogs at ESPN's GameDay
Gabby Thomas recently attended ESPN's GameDay to watch the No.1 Texas Longhorns battle it out with the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs. Before the game, she shared a frame with former football quarterback Vince Young, recreating the trend, 'In da club, we all fam', featuring an audio piece from 'Broad City' (a Comedy Central series).
The sprinter and former footballer hilariously lipsynced to the audio, and Thomas captioned the post as:
"But it’s still hook ‘em horns!!!"
At the GameDay, the world medalist expressed her love for the Texas Longhorns despite being a Georgia native. She talked about training under Tonja Buford-Bailey in Texas and how that helped her forge a successful career path.
