Gabby Thomas talked about being overstimulated with six unpacked suitcases because she gets one with every Team USA appearance and never unpacks fully after a trip. Thomas won three gold medals in the 200m, 4x100m relay, and 4x400m relay events at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Thomas made her second Olympics appearance in the Paris Olympics and walked home as one of the most decorated US Olympians at the 2024 Games. Her success continued as she won the 200m title at the 2024 London Diamond League, and finished second behind the 200m Olympic bronze medalist, Brittany Brown at the 2024 Athlos NYC, the Alexis Ohanian-hosted event.

After clinching back-to-back podiums, the 27-year-old offered a glimpse of her closet, featuring six unpacked suitcases. In a TikTok video, Gabby hilariously remarked about being 'overstimulated' with them since she never fully unpacks after returning from a trip.

"When I get back from a trip, I never fully unpack my suitcases so when I have to pack for another trip, I just use a new suitcase and now I have 6 unpacked suitcases sitting in my closet and I'm over stimulated," she wrote.

A TikTok user asked the reason behind having so many suitcases:

"Why do you have so many suitcases is the real issue here lol."

The American sprinter then revealed that she gets a new suitcase every time she makes the US team.

"It’s time to let some go. we get new suitcases for every US team we make," she replied.

Gabby Thomas became the first US woman to win the 200m gold at the Olympic Games since Allyson Felix achieved it at the 2012 London Olympics. Speaking to Olympics.com, the two-time World medalist expressed pride in being the first woman after her childhood idol to achieve such success.

"Being the first woman to win the 200m gold since Allyson Felix in 2012 is such a great feeling because I have looked up to her for so long, ever since I was a child. She’s such great representation, but I still never imagined that I would be quite in that exact position," Thomas said.

Gabby Thomas made her Olympic debut at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where she won the bronze in the 200m and the silver medal in the 4x100m relay.
