Gabby Thomas shares two-word reaction to pet dog Rico's photoshoot for leading pet nutrition brand backed by Simone Biles

American track and field athlete Gabby Thomas recently expressed her feelings as her dog, Rico, featured in a photo shoot. The shoot was for the pet food brand, Nulo with which Thomas has been associated and is currently one of its brand ambassadors.

Thomas and Rico have also graced the advertisements of the brand together in the past. Following their recent shoot, Nulo's Instagram handle shared some behind-the-scene glimpses of Rico's time from the shoot.

In the video, Rico can be seen posing candidly and playing cheerfully in the sets while Thomas was also present in some of the shots.

Thomas shared this video on her Instagram stories with a two-word caption. She wrote:

"My little 🌟"

Besides these ad campaigns, Rico is also frequently seen with Thomas on social media and also graced the pages of a lifestyle magazine in 2024.

Notably, American gymnast Simone Biles is also associated with the prominent pet nutrition brand, Nulo courtesy of her two dogs, Lilo and Rambo.

Gabby Thomas opens up about the advice that she would give to her younger self

Gabby Thomas recently shared the advice she would give to her younger self. This came just a few months after her historic campaign at the 2024 Paris Olympics where she was the most successful track athlete for the United States with three Olympic gold medals.

In an interview, Thomas stated that she would ask her younger self to trust herself as there would be several moments of doubt along the journey. Additionally, the 27-year-old also mentioned that she would also speak about handling failures and growing from such situations. She said:

"If I could talk to my younger self, I would say: Trust yourself and embrace the journey. There will be moments where doubt creeps in, where things don’t go as planned, or where it feels like the obstacles are too big to overcome. But through all of that, know that you are capable of more than you imagine. I would also tell her that it’s okay to fail. Every setback is just a stepping stone toward growth." During the interview, Gabby Thomas also mentioned her mother and former American track and field athlete Allyson Felix as the two women who have inspired her throughout her career.
