Simone Biles shared a hilarious reaction after her husband Jonathan Owens praised her in Gen-Z slang. The Chicago Bears' safety was praising the gymnast's customized outfit which featured over a dozen pictures of him.
Biles wore a long-sleeved, two-piece custom outfit with several pictures of Owens, and his number, 36, all over it for the Bears' Thursday night match against the Seattle Seahawks. While the Bears suffered their 10th straight loss, Owens didn't forget to praise Biles' outfit, commenting on her Instagram post:
"PTSO 🔥🥵."
While PTSO is a short-term Gen-Z slang for "put that s**t on", the seven-time Olympic champion apparently didn't know it. Replying to Owens, Biles said she needed to google the term to find what it meant.
"@jowens brb going to google what this means lmao," she wrote.
The 27-year-old has been regular to Bears' games since the end of her Gold Over America Tour on November 3, and while the team has heavily struggled during the 2024 season, she has made sure to support Owens with custom outfits for each game.
The one she wore on Thursday was her favorite of the lot so far, as per her interview with Olympics.com last week.
"My favorite one so far is one that I haven't worn yet, and I'm wearing it to Thursday's game," Simone Biles said at the time.
The 27-year-old had also said she didn't design the outfits herself and instead had given a free hand to NFL creators.
"Honestly, I reach out to some of the creators that make the apparel, and I have no ideas. I let them kind of freeball it, and I say, 'Surprise me.' And then that's how I piece them together," she added.
"It means the world to me" - Simone Biles on what it means to repay support to Jonathan Owens during NFL season
Jonathan Owens attended nearly all of Simone Biles' gymnastics events in 2024 and even took almost a week off from the Chicago Bears' pre-season training camp to support her at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she won three gold medals.
After Biles' gymnastics season ended, she has been a regular at Owens' games and claimed it means the world to her to repay the support to the Bears' safety.
"Oh, my gosh. It means the world to me. And I know it means so much to him for me to be able to go and support his games. For him, it means a lot for me to go on the sideline before because he says that's his pre-game routine," Simone Biles said in the aforementioned interview with Olympics.com.
The couple, who met in 2020 before tying the knot three years later, have regularly been spotted sharing intimate moments on the sidelines before Owens takes the field.
