"Got me this time" - Noah Lyles surprises fiancée Junelle Bromfield with a big gift following their engagement ceremony

Noah Lyles surprised his fiancée, Junelle Bromfield, with a luxurious house that they hope to turn into a home in the future. Bromfield shared a video of the couple entering their new house for the first time in an Instagram post on Sunday.

The Jamaican sprinter claimed she didn't know about the house but was happy to be surprised.

"I’m usually hard to surprise but he got me this time 🥺❤️," she captioned the video.

The house was adorned with decorations all around, welcoming the couple into their new "Noah-Junelle home."

Lyles first met Bromfield in 2017 and while their dating life didn't click initially, they developed a close friendship. The relationship blossomed into a romantic one in 2022 after Bromfield moved her training base to Florida. After nearly two years of dating, the couple recently got engaged in a romantic ceremony in October 2024 and are now planning to move to a new house.

While Junelle Bromfield didn't win any medals at the Paris Olympics, she claimed making it to the Olympics was itself an achievement for her after having contemplated retiring before the trials. Her fiancé, Noah Lyles, stepped up to hype her up following the competition, saying:

"She ran at the Olympics this year in the open 400-meters, and I’m so proud of her. She’s a survivor. She’s a fighter. She’s savvy. As my mom would say, ‘She has a bounce-back ability.’ No matter what happens, she’ll be able to get up and come back. Those are similar qualities I find in myself that I think we relate to." Bromfield competed at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics as well, winning a bronze medal in the women's 4x400m relay. The Jamaican has two world medals to her name, including a World Indoor Championship gold.

"Junelle, a two-time Olympian, Olympic bronze medal winner, multi-world championship medalist. She’s been running since she was 8 years old, making teams for Jamaica, so she’s very talented in her own right,” Noah Lyles added.

Though the couple hasn't announced any wedding plans yet, they could likely be marrying after the conclusion of the 2025 season.
