Harper Murray on gearing up for another year at the University of Nebraska
After featuring in the semifinals of the 2024 NCAA Championships, Harper Murray is set for another season as a Husker. The 19-year-old volleyball player recently opened up on representing the Nebraska Cornhuskers for yet another season.
A few weeks ago, Murray shared a letter that her coach John Cook had written to her on her Instagram profile. As per the post she wrote:
"Found this letter that the coach had written to me 8 years ago. Just had to share this, it is so special."
In the letter, Cook had appreciated the skills of the young Murray and had assured her of a berth in the Cornhuskers. The coach wrote:
"Harper - Thank you for coming to camp. One of the best learners I have coached. Know that you will always have a locker at Nebraska. Hope you can see a match here sometime - Until then dream big! PS: You look great in red--John."
Harper Murray contributed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers' impressive performance last year. Once again, the Huskers stormed into the semifinals for the fourth consecutive time since 2021. However, they narrowly lost to the Penn State Nittany Lions, who eventually went on to win the Championship.
