Nebraska Cornhuskers volleyball player Harper Murray recently expressed her feelings for her former teammate, Lexi Rodriguez, who joined the League One Volleyball side LOVB Omaha after her collegiate career concluded.

Murray recently attended the LOVB Omaha's practice session before the game against Austin at the Liberty First Credit Union Area on Sunday along with teammate, Andi Jackson. Rodriguez's side eventually lost the game by a margin of 3-0, making it their first defeat this inaugural LOVB season.

Notably, a former Nebraska captain, Rodriguez, didn't participate in the game, but her other Husker mates, such as Lauren Stivrins took part in the game. Rodriguez's side will next face Atlanta on Sunday.

The Nebraska outside hitter took to her Instagram handle to share a glimpse of Rodriguez from the practice session before the game in the story. Additionally, she also expressed her love for the former Nebraska libero. She wrote in her story:

Harper Murray opened up about Nebraska's campaign at the 2023 NCAA Championships in August.

In an interview, Murray revealed that Nebraska's clash against the Pittsburgh Panthers in the national team semis was one of her favorite performances from her Nebraska career. She scored 13 kills in the three sets she played. She said (via ESPN):

"That's my favorite game to watch. I've rewatched it so many times. Like, I could probably tell you every single point in order. "

Speaking about Nebraska's loss in the finals of the 2023 National Championships, Murray said:

"I think the hardest part was seeing them celebrate in the corner of my eye. I refused to look that way because I didn't want to see it. I was just straight furious and seeing all red."

Harper Murray's performance in the finals against Texas Longhorns was not as impressive as the semis. She played all three sets of the match, which her team lost 3-0, and scored just seven kills.
