Stephen Nedoroscik expressed his dissent as he joined the growing outcry over the recent TikTok ban in the United States. The American gymnast became nostalgic as he recalled his memories of using the popular social media application.
TikTok played a huge role in helping athletes connect with their fans as well as build their own personal brand which would help them get sponsorships as well as advertisement contracts. Stephen Nedorosick has been very active on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram where he would share updates about his life as well as fun moments from his training sessions for Dancing with the Stars with Rylee Arnold.
Nedoroscik had built a huge following on TikTok after the Paris Olympics as he would share glimpses of the quadrennial games with the different perspectives in which he would showcase fun moments with his teammates as well as glimpses of his practice sessions.
However, it all came to a standstill as the Chinese-owned social media company was officially banned in the US after the Supreme Court upheld the law requiring TikTok's parent company to divest its ownership or become inaccessible in the country.
The American gymnast took to social media to express his thoughts after TikTok became inaccessible and wrote:
"Back in the day we had TikTok."
Furthermore, he shared a story on Instagram and wrote:

Stephen Nedoroscik competed in multiple events in gymnastics at the Paris Olympics. The American gymnast had gone viral on social media after his Pommel Horse routine at the quadrennial games which even gave him the name of the 'Pommel Horse Guy'.
Soon after the conclusion of the event, Nedoroscik's picture before the gymnastics event where he had his eyes closed went viral on the internet and was known as the 'viral sleeping meme'. All in all, Nedoroscik's incredible pommel horse routine along with two bronze medals at the quadrennial games increased his popularity by multiple folds.
The 26-year-old spoke about receiving multiple calls for brand deals and collaborations after the Olympics.
"I had to focus on you know, like 'Oh my gosh!' Like I need to get an agent you know, I'm getting calls about these deals and stuff, and I was like it was like so much, it was like overwhelming um, but like we got it all figured out, and I was like heck yeah, we're doing this Dancing with the Stars," Nedoroscik said (Lightweights podcast)
Soon after the Paris Olympics, Stephen Nedoroscik received the opportunity to go out of his comfort zone and participate in the famous dance reality show Dancing With the Stars.
