Holloway Pro Classic 2024 Results: Quincy Wilson clocks U18 400m world record, Favour Ofili impresses in 100m

The 2024 Holloway Pro Classic witnessed a few star-studded lineups, including the 100m, 200m, and the 400m. Elite athletes including Quincy Wilson, Athing Mu, Favour Ofili, and Erriyon Knighton were seen competing at the Holloway Pro Classic on Friday, July 19, 2024, at the University of Florida in Gainesville.

America's new sensation Wilson dominated the men's 400m to set a new U18 men’s 400m world record, breaking his own high school record. He posted a stunning time of 44.20 to defeat Deadmon Bryce (44.23) and Boling Matthew (44.84).

Erriyon Knighton shines in men's 200m at the 2024 Holloway Pro Classic

The 20-year-old American athlete Erriyon Knighton won the men's 200m race at the Holloway Pro Classic with a time of 19.92s. He surpassed Jamaica's Powell Jevaughn and fellow teammate Gregory Robert, who clocked 20.21 and 20.33s, respectively.

Ofili topped the women's 100m lineup with 11.07s by surpassing Candice Hill and Leah Bertrand, who clocked 11.07 and 11.18 seconds, respectively.
