Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Femke Bol will be headlining an exciting women's 400m hurdles final at the Paris Olympics 2024. The final will start on August 8 at 3:25 p.m. ET.

McLaughlin-Levrone and Bol are two of the fastest women in history over the 400m hurdles, and while the former is the defending Olympic champion, the latter is the current world champion. Besides those two, Anna Cockrell and Rushell Clayton will be the stars to watch out for.

The high-octane final will be streamed live on NBC and Peacock at 3:25 p.m. ET. The live streaming will be available on both the NBC Sports app, NBCOlympics.com, and NBC.com. It can also be watched live on DIRECTV Stream.

Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Femke Bol are the two fastest women in the lineup with personal bests of 50.65s and 50.95s respectively. Following them is Jamaica’s Rushell Clayton with 52.51 while Anna Cockrell is third in 52.64. Jasmine Jones is another American runner in the final with a personal best of 52.77.

Shiann Salmon will be Jamaica's second athlete in the finals. She holds a personal best of 53.13 and would look to break that. The other two runners in the final of women's 400m hurdles will be Savannah Sutherland of Canada and Louise Maraval of France. They hold personal bests of 53.26 and 53.71, respectively.

Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Femke Bol have only faced twice in their careers so far. Their first meeting came in the women's 400m hurdles finals at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where the American runner clocked a world record 51.46s for her maiden Olympic gold medal. Bol was third with a European record of 52.03.

A year later, the two women faced off in another high-stakes final at the 2022 World Championships. It delivered a breathtaking run from McLaughlin-Levrone, who clocked a blistering 50.68s for the gold. The Dutch runner settled for silver in 52.27.

The 400m hurdle final at the Paris Olympics 2024 will be the third meeting between the two, and it would need a world record performance to win the gold medal. The American has run world record times every time the two have met, and after missing last year's World Championships with injury, she would look for redemption at the Olympic Games.
