Hunter Woodhall had a fabulous 2024, winning multiple medals at the Paris Paralympics. The American is now making the most of the holiday season and enjoying some time away from the track before he returns to action, and he recently shared with fans, a funny photo of his dog sleeping in a hilarious position.
Woodhall, alongside his wife and Olympic champion Tara Davis-Woodhall, is a parent to three pets, two of which are dogs named Milo and Winnie, while one is a cat named Azula. The couple are incredibly close to their pets, and even had Milo And Winnie feature as ring bearers in their October, 2022 wedding at the D'Vine Grace Vineyard in McKinney, Texas.
The Woodhalls often share snaps of their dogs and cat with followers on social media. Most recently, Hunter Woodhall took to his Instagram story to share a snap of their dog Winnie sleeping in a funny position, and wrote,
“Honestly, same.”

Hunter Woodhall and Tara Davis-Woodhall share an incredible bond with their pets. In an interview with The Dodo, Davis-Woodhall revealed that Milo helped her deal with her hard days, saying,
“When Milo was a puppy he was the best puppy ever. The hardest days of my life turned out better because he was there.”
Woodhall added that their other dog, Winnie, could give you a little boost, explaining,
“When we found Winnie, she had this way of knowing when you need that little boost. They (Milo and Winnie) are our best buds. I put a lot of value into the way that I compete and then you get home and they just love you regardless of what circumstances are going on.”
After the Paris Olympics and Paralympics, the couple revealed in an interview with Olympics.com that they were hoping their medals from the Games would earn them some respect from their pets, with Hunter Woodhall saying,
"We're going to sit them down at the table and we're going to say, 'Listen guys, mommy and daddy went out there and we did our jobs and it's time to respect us. OK? We're putting our feet down. We're laying the law'.”
For Hunter Woodhall and Tara Davis-Woodhall, the Paris Olympics and Paralympics couldn't have gone better. Davis-Woodhall was in action first, competing at the Games where she walked away with a gold medal in the long jump event. A little while later, the couple returned to Paris, with Woodhall competing in the Paralympics, where he won a gold in the men's 400m T62 and a bronze in the 4x100m mixed relay.
