Simone Biles hilariously snubbed questions about her fourth Olympic appearance. The American gymnast recently concluded her campaign at the Paris Olympics and emerged victorious by winning a total of four medals which included three gold medals and a silver medal.
Right after the Paris Olympics, Biles prepared for the release of Part 2 of her highly anticipated documentary series 'Simone Biles: Rising' which featured her pursuits at the Paris Olympics. The 27-year-old's appearance at the Paris Olympics was termed as 'redemption' by fans on social media because she had withdrawn from the Tokyo Olympics due to mental health concerns.
The American gymnast spoke about a variety of topics during the premiere of the second part of her documentary series and had a hilarious reaction when asked about her take on the fact that no U.S. gymnast has ever been to four Olympic games subtly indicating her plans for the next edition of the Olympics in Los Angeles.
Biles hilariously snubbed the question and said:
"You guys, I have no, I have no answer. Not a single thought. I am living life. We're on tour right now. We're going to take it day by day."
Simone Biles on her third consecutive Olympic appearance in Paris
Simone Biles made her third consecutive Olympic appearance in Paris. The American gymnast spoke about her victorious campaign in a post-match interview and revealed how she was free from the stress of making a comeback and competing on the global stage.
"I'm not upset about my performance, I'm actually happy, proud, and even more excited that it's over, the stress of it," Biles told a packed news conference. I've accomplished way more than my wildest dreams, not just at this Olympics but in the sport, so I can't be mad at my performances. I'm pretty proud of myself and it's always so exciting to compete," she said.
Furthermore, she spoke about winning the silver medal in the floor exercise and sharing the podium with Rebeca Andrade and Jordan Chiles.
"First, it was an all-black podium so that was super exciting for us but then Jordan was like 'Should we bow to her?' and I was like 'Absolutely'. It is such an excitement to watch. It was just the right thing to do," she said.
With an overall Olympic medal count of 11 under her belt and 30 World Championship medals, Simone Biles etched her name in the history books as the most decorated gymnast of all time.
