Three-time Olympic gold medalist Gabby Thomas recently shared how her boyfriend, Spencer McManes, made fun of her because of the way she makes her salad. Thomas appeared on the 'Ali on the Run Show' podcast where she spoke about her journey into professional running and her athletic career, including training, competitive events, and her achievements.
The 27-year-old specializes in the 100m and 200m disciplines. Thomas' Olympic journey began in Tokyo where she bagged a bronze medal in the 200m final and a silver medal in the 4x100m relay.
At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Thomas secured a gold medal in the 200m final on August 6th after clocking 21.83 seconds. McManes was seen cheering from the stands for Thomas at the event. She also won a gold medal in the 4x100m and 4x400m relay.

Gabby Thomas appeared on the 'Ali on the Run Show' podcast earlier this week where Ali Feller, the host, asked her:
"If you were on Top Chef and they said, make your signature dish, what would you make?"
Thomas answered, "I can put together a salad." She said she would choose bagged salads with cheese and crispy toppings and then open a bag of spinach and add it to a bowl.
"I eat it. I know my boyfriend always makes fun of me. When I eat salads, I just eat the leaves," she said.
Thomas also suggested Feller try it sometime because "it is so efficient and yummy".
Gabby Thomas and boyfriend Spencer McManes took a trip to Maldives
In October 2024, Gabby Thomas and her boyfriend Spencer McManes went on an off-season vacation to Maldives. The Olympian shared pictures and glimpses of her vacation on Instagram.
In her Maldives Day 1 Vlog, she said in a voice-over reel:
"Every guest gets a bike, so once we get to the villa, we biked around the resort a little bit to check it out. Then we came back to our villa and sat outside by the ocean, and it was so calming and peaceful. Then the resort made us a dinner reservation, and we got ready for dinner."
Thomas and her boyfriend stayed at the Joali Being Resort in Maldives.
