American track athlete Noah Lyles opened up about the secret behind his rock-star persona on the track. This comes just a few after the track athlete's engagement to his girlfriend, Junelle Bromfield.

Lyles has always carried a unique personality during track competitions. Be it his antics while entering the track or his stunning nail designs, like the "ICON" nail design at the Paris Olympics, the Florida native has always been open to trying different styles.

The 27-year-old's unique style can also be traced back to the 2023 World Championships in Budapest where he curated a unique design on his nails. Besides his on-track style, Lyles also dons colorful dresses in his off-track life.

In an interview with the Telegraph, Lyles stated that he wanted to create a "rock-star" persona with his dressing styles. He also mentioned that the bright and exotic dressing styles of music artists such as Travis Scott and A$AP had influenced him heavily in this regard. He said:

"I like to be different, I like to be pop, I like some aspect of the outfit to be like, ‘Wow, OK, that guy’s blinding me a little.’ I want that rock-star effect. I liked the way A$AP, Travis Scott, Pharrell, and Tyler were dressing, and wanted to get a little edgy, a little exotic, a little brighter and more colorful."

Lyles' stylish fashion quotient was recently on display during the New York Fashion Week where he posed as a model for Willy Chavarria's photoshoot.

Noah Lyles, during the 2024 Olympics, expressed his interest in designing personalized sneakers in the future. In an interview after his gold medal-winning 100m run at the quadrennial event, Lyles stated there are no financial gains in spikes. He said (via Andscape):

"I want my own shoe. I want my own trainer. Ain’t no money in spikes. There’s money in sneakers and even Michael Johnson didn’t have his own sneaker."

Lyles is currently under contract with Adidas until the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. He aims to become the third track athlete to have a personalized commercial signature shoe line from Adidas, following in the footsteps of Usain Bolt and Haile Gebrselassie.
