Simone Biles is back to working out for the first time since the Paris Olympics. The gymnast shared with fans that she recently attended a pilates class and hilariously admitted that it was something she wouldn't put herself through again.
For Biles, 2024 has been a hectic schedule that has seen her claim some impressive amount of hardware. She started her year off winning the all-around and floor tiles at the U.S. Core Hydration Classic. Up next, the 27-year-old completed a clean sweep of all five events at the US National Championships before going on to win the all-around, floor, and vault events at the U.S. Olympic Trials.
In August, Biles competed at the third consecutive Olympic Games. At the Paris Olympics, she was simply stunning, helping the USA reclaim the team gold medal while storming to a title finish in the all-around and vault events. The American also won a silver on the floor.
Since the Games, Simone Biles has been enjoying some time away from the gym, but she recently attended a Pilates class. The Olympian wasn't too fond of the experience, taking to her Instagram stories to write.
“First time working out since the Olympics.....this is what I wore to a pilates class that I will never be attending again! y'all stay strong out there Imao, it was too hard."
Simone Biles made the most of her off-season after the Paris Olympics
After the Paris Olympics, Simone Biles still had a busy schedule lined up for her. Immediately post the Games, the 27-year-old headed off on the second iteration of the ‘Gold Over America' Tour. The first GOAT Tour took place back in 2021 after the Tokyo Games and was a massive success.
This time around, the American made the show bigger and better, adding members of the US Men's Gymnastics Team to the roster of performers. The 2024 Gold Over America Tour saw Biles and co. tour for over a month, performing in 32 shows.
Aside from the GOAT Tour, the gymnast’s off season has seen her attend the US Open, the premiere of ‘Simone Biles Rising,’ the second part of her Netflix documentary, as well as a Friends of the Children gala.
Biles had also shown her support for her husband Jonathan Owens in her time away from gymnastics, cheering for him and the Chicago Bears at various NFL games.
