Tara Davis-Woodhall and her husband Hunter Woodhall shared an adorable moment before the 2024 Paris Paralympics. The couple recently made the internet swoon with their wholesome celebrations after her gold medal at the Paris Olympics.

Recently, Woodhall posted on his Instagram Threads about craving something sweet or dessert-like, writing:

“I could use a sweet treat”

Davis-Woodhall immediately came up with a playful response, ending her statement with a zany face emoji. She wrote:

“I’ll be your sweet treat 🤪”

Tara and Hunter’s love story dates back to 2017 when they met one another during the Simplot Games Indoor Athletics meet in Idaho, while they were in their senior year of high school. Both of them felt an instant attraction to each other. Before even interacting with her, Hunter was sure he would marry Tara. He even shared the feeling with a friend. However, it was the long jumper who made the first move.

The couple got enchanted in 2021 and they exchanged vows on October 16, 2022, in Texas.

The couple rose to fame during the 2024 Paris Olympics, where Hunter was in attendance at Stade de France, cheering for his wife Tara as she competed in the women's long jump finals at the quadrennial games.

Tara won the gold medal at the Paris Olympics with a best effort of 7.10m in her fourth attempt, defeating the Tokyo Olympics gold medalist Malaika Mihambo, whose top jump in the final was 6.98m. After Tara became the Olympic champion, she went over to Hunter who lifted her as the two shared an emotional and joyful moment.

Just like Tara, Hunter Woodhall is a track and field athlete, specializing in sprinting disciplines. He already has three Paralympic medals from his participation in the 2016 Rio and the 2020 Paralympic Olympics. This includes a silver medal in the 200m T44 in Rio and bronze medals in the 400m T44 in Rio and the 400m T62 in Tokyo.

Hunter will hope to add a gold medal to his Paralympic tally this time around. He is set to feature in the men’s 100m T64 and 400m T62 events in Paris.

He has already shown glimpses of his form this season by winning two silver medals at the 2024 World Championships held in Kobe, Japan. The 25-year-old achieved medal-winning performances in the 100m T64 and 400m T62 events.
