"I'm not very materialistic" - Simone Biles reveals favorite gifts exchanged with husband Jonathan Owens

Simone Biles has claimed that she isn't highly interested in materialistic gifts and her favorite gifts from husband Jonathan Owens are the weekly flowers he gets her. She also revealed the favorite gift she has given to the Chicago Bears' safety.

Biles was speaking in an interview with Olympics.com while en route to supporting Owens during the Bears' game against Detroit Lions on Sunday and revealed that the safety buys her flowers every week and those are her favorite gifts.

"What's the best gift? Honestly, I'm not very materialistic. It's probably my weekly flowers. He buys me flowers every week, and that's my favorite," Simone Biles said.

When asked what was the best gift she had given to Owens, Biles replied:

"I wouldn't even say the best gift I've ever gotten him, because obviously that’d be me. Okay. But I feel like his favorite, and one that he's been wanting for so long, was a Rolex."

Earlier after qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympics, Biles received a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Mini as a gift from the Chicago Bears safety, which is estimated to be worth more than $45,000. Owens also 'spoilt' her with a Channel box in October.

"A very lazy day" - Simone Biles on life during gymnastics off-season

Following the end of her Gold Over America Tour, Simone Biles is claiming to be living a lazy life with husband Jonathan Owens in Chicago. During the aforementioned interview, she said about her daily schedule:

"It depends. If I'm travelling, doing events, or staying home. If I'm staying home with the dogs, I'm usually cleaning up around the house and then prepping food for when Jonathan gets out of practice. So, a very lazy day."

Biles and Owens are living together like a normal married couple for first time following their marriage in April 2023. While the NFL player was busy with his footballing schedule, the gymnast was preparing for her comeback at the 2023 World Championships and 2024 Paris Olympics. While Biles called her days at the moment lazy, Owens said in November 2024 that he loves the gymnast's cooking.

"I mean last year she was still training and I was up in Green Bay so we weren't able to be together as much. This is really like our first time getting being able to just be married and I come home and it's a food cooking and it smells good," he said during an interview with Fox 32 Chicago.

The couple met via online dating app, Raya, in 2020 and while it was Biles who had made the first move, Owens returned the favor by surprising her with a wedding proposal in 2022.
