Simone Biles recently opened up on her favorite Christmas celebrations. The gymnast also shared a hilarious response when asked about some of her favorite Christmas moments.
In the interview with Kelly Clarkson on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show', Biles was asked about what she would choose to be if given a choice between the elves of Santa Claus or his reindeer. Biles had a rather bold response when she replied:
"I'm the perfect height for an elf. I can't lie."
Clarkson was rather surprised by the cheeky response and admitted that she was not prepared for it all. However, that wasn't all. Biles also shared that the first installment of 'Home Alone' continues to be one of her favorite 'Christmas retreats', and she even attempted some of the traps set by the protagonist in the movie!
Simone Biles had a brilliant season this year. She won three gold medals at the Paris Olympics, making her one of the most decorated American female gymnasts of all time. Though the controversy around Jordan Chiles marred the floor exercise event, Biles managed to save face for the USA with a respectable silver medal.
Simone Biles on her plans for the 2025 season
Simone Biles has nailed it in the 2024 season, winning four Olympic medals in Paris. Though she hasn't decided on participating in the Los Angeles Olympics 2028, the 27-year-old opened up about her plans for the upcoming season in 2025.
In an interview with E! News, Biles was asked about her preparations for the new year. Though she didn't specifically mention about the training, she replied:
"Besides relaxing and going on a couple of vacations with my husband, I'm really just trying to be involved in the community as much as I can as well as giving back."
In the same interview, Biles also recalled the highlight of the year, which was spending quality time with husband and NFL player Jonathan Owens. She added:
"Honestly, since my husband and I got married we’ve been doing long-distance. After the Olympics and my tour, I would say the highlight has been spending quality time with him for the first time in the longest time since we’ve been married. Just cherishing those times, moving into our house in Chicago, and making it our home."
After having completed the second season of the 'Gold over America Tour', Biles is now preparing for the upcoming season. Even if she retires from gymnastics by 2025, Simone Biles would be counted amongst the most decorated gymnasts of all time, along with the likes of Larisa Latynina and Vera Caslavska of the USSR and Czechoslovakia respectively.
