Tara Davis-Woodhall revealed she wouldn't have kids soon, asking her husband Hunter Woodhall to wait at least four or five years. Davis-Woodhall soared to her debut gold medal in the long jump at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Davis-Woodhall kicked off her successful 2024 season with the long jump gold medal-winning feat at the World Indoor Championships. At the Paris Games, she cleared 7.10m to take her maiden Olympic gold. Her husband, Hunter Woodhall, who participated at the Paralympic Games shortly after, clinched his maiden Olympic gold in the 400m T62.

Basking in the glory of their Olympic victories, the couple shifted to Kansas for Tara Davis-Woodhall's new role as an assistant track and field coach at K-State. Training under Travis Geopfert, the Woodhalls posted glimpses of their fun workout sessions in the college training arena.

In a recent Instagram post, the long jumper made a revelation of not wanting kids for at least four or five years, prompting her husband to call her a 'celibate.'

"I am not ready for kids, not yet."

Hunter laughed and said:

"So everybody shut up."

The long jumper continued:

"Shut up. There's no kids happening anytime soon. Not on at least my watch. Four or five years, wait."

Hunter hilariously stated that his wife planned to be a 'celibate' in 2025.

"Her new resolution is she's being celibate."

Disagreeing with her husband, the long jumper laughed and said:

"That's not true. You can't catch me with that, now when I'm married."

Davis-Woodhall was a finalist at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, but her sixth-place finish ended her podium bid.

Tara and Hunter stepped into content creation in 2017, the year they met at a high school track meet for the first time. The couple has since been documenting their journey, boasting a whopping 906k subscribers on YouTube. They also balance Instagram and TikTok with track training and competitions.

In a recent Instagram post, Hunter Woodhall took charge of the camera to capture his wife sharing her New Year's resolution. Though she didn't want to see any changes on the track, Tara Davis-Woodhall expressed her wish to be empathetic and a good human.

"New Year, same me. Actually, I do have some resolutions, but they're not for track. They're for mine, I actually want to be a better human. Not to get into it but to be a better person. I want to get more empathetic and care a little bit more and not rough and silly."

Tara Davis-Woodhall was nominated for her first World Athletics Award after posting a successful 2024 season.
