Stephen Nedoroscik's dance partner, Rylee Arnold, recently shared an unfortunate incident she experienced due to her serious health condition. The gymnast's partner is suffering from Type-1 diabetes.
Nedoroscik and Arnold are currently competing in the 33rd season of 'Dancing With the Stars'. The gymnast was offered this show while he was competing at the Paris Olympics, where he won two bronze medals in the team all-around event and the pommel horse event.
Nedoroscik rose to fame with his stellar performances at the 2024 Summer Games and is now proving his billing as a formidable all-rounder by performing with Rylee Arnold in the show.
Arnold is a 19-year-old choreographer who recently appeared in a podcast named From Scrubbing in with Becca Tilley & Tanya Rad, where she spoke about her diabetes and the struggles she faced because of her health condition.
"I was in the heat of my dance season, and I was just super busy. So I was naturally just, I thought I was just really tired, really thirsty, experiencing all those symptoms," said Arnold. "And I was just like eating all the time. I was peeing all the time, but I was just like, I'm so tired, I'm exhausted. I'm traveling every weekend for dance. Like, this just makes sense.”
Arnold further shared a story where she passed out in the car and was admitted to the hospital following that.
“I remember I went to dance one day, and I like ate so much food because I was just starving. And I passed out in my friend's car. And then I went over to the hospital that day and my blood sugar was 1,023. And it's supposed to be 80 to 120. Oh, my gosh. So I was literally like, I think if I, when I've gone to the hospital that night and I would have gone to bed, I think I would have died that night.”
Stephen Nedoroscik praised Rylee Arnold for being a good dance partner
After performing on the 500th episode of 'Dancing With the Stars', Stephen Nedoroscik appreciated his dance partner, Rylee Arnold, by complimenting her talent and hard work. He shared a video of their performance of that episode and exuded gratitude for having Arnold as his partner.
"The 500th episode was an unforgettable night!! Rylee and I put in so much work into this dance, and to hear how much it touched people means everything to me. All the credit goes to Rylee, she really is the best. I'm so grateful to have such an amazing dance partner by my side," wrote Stephen Nedoroscik.
Nedoroscik added:
"Reimagining @markballas and @charlidamelio's Viennese Waltz was a daunting task, and I just hope they enjoyed our performance and we were able to make them proud. I’m beyond excited and blessed, to continue this journey, thank you to everyone who continues to support us."
Stephen Nedoroscik etched his name in history books after helping Team USA win an Olympic medal after 16 years.
