Alica Schmidt recently gave a sneak peek of her 2025 vision board and stated that she has no resolutions for this new year. The German athlete wrapped up her 2024 season after competing at the Paris Olympics, where she finished without a medal.
Schmidt was part of the teams for the 4x400m women's relay and the 4x400m mixed relay. Following this upset, the athlete went on her off-season and enjoyed her downtime by going on a four-week vacation with her friends. Currently, she is gearing up for the 2025 season and usually shares updates of her workout sessions on social media.
The 26-year-old recently collaborated with Hugo Boss and shared her vision board for the 2025 season. She revealed the essential attributes she wants to add in this new year and also explained how the vision board works.
"I'm creating my vision board for 2025. And it's kinda like a workout: You have to believe in it and you have to test it. I don't really have New Year resolutions because if I want to change something I try to do it straight away. 2025, I see dedication and a lot of hard work," said Alica Schmidt.
The German athlete couldn't win any medal in the Paris Olympics as she fell short of reaching the finals of any event. She competed in the women's 4x400m relay, where she and her team earned a seventh-place finish in Heat 2 of the race.
This loss was then followed by her competition in the mixed 4x400m relay, where she and her team again finished seventh in Heat 2 of the race, disqualifying themselves from the finals.

She added a bunch of pictures from the Olympics in her post and added a caption that read:
"The Olympics are not just about winning medals. It‘s about being alongside inspiring athletes while competing at the highest level. Showing ambition, celebrating diversity and people no matter who they are and where they are from. The past weeks were an emotional rollercoaster and I was able to learn a lot. As an athlete I am still not where I want to be and maybe I will never be. But the one thing that is for sure: I will never stop trying and figuring out ways to improve. I love taking you guys with me on this journey and hope to inspire young athletes and show how amazing this sport can be!"
